Casa Retreats Welcome

MEXICO · SPRING 2026

Welcome to Casa.

MARCH 18-23, 2026

We’re so grateful to welcome you to our Spring 2026 Casa Retreat — six days designed to slow down, reconnect, and arrive more fully into yourself.

Nestled inside the UNESCO-protected Sian Ka’an Biosphere on Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, Casa Maya Ka’an offers a rare oceanfront sanctuary where jungle, sky, and sea converge. This experience blends daily movement, nourishing meals, unstructured beach time, and intentional gatherings — designed to support nervous system reset, presence, and genuine connection.

This guide is here to help you feel grounded and prepared as you arrive. While a few details may evolve as we get closer, the heart and rhythm of the retreat will remain the same.

We can’t wait to welcome you home.

With warmth, Lauren & the Casa Retreats Team

03 · WEEK FLOW

Daily rhythm, excursions, and what to expect

Daily rhythm (general)

Each day follows a similar, supportive rhythm designed to honor the flow of the retreat. Exact timing may vary slightly day to day.

  • Morning: Gentle and grounding — morning breathwork and yoga, followed by breakfast.
  • Midday: Open, spacious time for a la carte sessions, massage treatments, workshops, or rest. Lunch is enjoyed in the afternoon.
  • Evening: Evenings slow again with a grounding practice, shared dinner, and an optional gathering or activity.

SCHEDULE

The full daily schedule, including any personalized details, will be shared during your first day.

FREE TIME

Free time is intentionally woven throughout the retreat. Everything is optional — you’re invited to rest, explore, or simply be, and to move at your own pace.

À La Carte Sessions

Many of you have opted to include one or more of our à la carte wellness sessions as part of your retreat experience. These offerings — such as massage treatments, breathwork, ice bath, or inversion therapy — will be thoughtfully woven into the schedule throughout the week.

To help you get the most from these sessions, we recommend arriving well hydrated and on a light stomach. Our team will help coordinate timing so each experience flows smoothly within the retreat schedule.

If you decide during the retreat that you’d like to add an additional session, we will do our best to accommodate requests based on availability.

04 · ON-PROPERTY

Villa notes, housekeeping, food, add-ons, and contact

The property

Casa Maya Kaan — your retreat home for the week — is located approximately 10km within the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, a protected UNESCO World Heritage site nestled between the Caribbean Sea and the lagoon.

This is a unique and powerful natural environment where the rhythms of nature are deeply present. Surrounded by ocean breeze, wildlife, and the stillness of the reserve, Casa Maya Kaan is designed to immerse you fully in the landscape.

It can take a day or so to acclimate to the sounds, breeze, lighting, and pace of this space upon arrival. We encourage you to give yourself time to settle in, slow down, and allow the environment to do its work.

Shared spaces, amenities, and a few simple notes to support rest and ease during your stay.

AMENITIES

Guests are welcome to enjoy the following throughout the retreat:

  • Small rooftop plungepool
  • Outdoor lounge and dining spaces
  • Private beach and natural surroundings
  • Kayaks, paddle boards, snorkling equipment, beach volleyball , racket ball, puzzles

YOGA SHALA

Yoga, workshops, and movement sessions take place in an open-air covered yoga space facing the Sea — spacious, shaded, and deeply connected to nature. Mats, blocks, straps, and towels are provided for each class and workshop. Filtered water is avaliable to re-fill your bottle inside the house.

COMMON AREAS & PRIVATE SPACES

The property includes shared gathering areas, dining spaces, beach lounges, and relaxation areas designed for both connection and quiet moments throughout the day.

The property is designed to be enjoyed as a shared retreat space, with beach areas, lounges, and gathering spots open for everyone throughout the week.

Guest rooms and tents are private accommodations reserved for the guests staying in them, and we kindly ask that these spaces remain personal to support rest and privacy for all.

QUIET HOURS & CONSIDERATION

10:30 PM – 7:30 AM.

To support rest and integration, we kindly ask guests to be mindful of noise in shared spaces during these hours, especially near sleeping areas and inside the main house. While everyone naturally has their own rhythm, maintaining a quiet atmosphere during these hours helps ensure everyone can rest comfortably.

Housekeeping, laundry & living in nature

LAUNDRY

Laundry service is not available during the retreat. As Casa Maya Kaan is located within the protected Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, we do our best to minimize environmental impact and water usage wherever possible. We recommend packing accordingly for the duration of your stay.

HOUSEKEEPING

Guest rooms and tents are refreshed daily with made beds, fresh drinking water, and light tidying to support a comfortable stay.

Bed linens will be changed once during the retreat unless otherwise needed.

LIVING IN NATURE

Casa Maya Kaan sits deep within the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve, a protected UNESCO World Heritage site surrounded by ocean, lagoon, and vibrant wildlife. While the property is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, being immersed in nature comes with its natural rhythms and occasional quirks.

Water pressure, lighting, and WiFi connectivity may vary at times due to the remote environment. We ask for your understanding and flexibility as these small elements are simply part of the experience of staying in such a unique and untouched place.

WATER & PLUMBING

Tap water should not be consumed. Fresh drinking water will be provided in your rooms and refill stations will be available throughout the property — we encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle.

As is common throughout much of Mexico, we kindly ask that toilet paper be placed in the waste bin beside the toilet rather than flushed.

TOWELS

Fresh towels will be provided as needed. When a towel is ready to be replaced, please leave it on the floor of your room.

Food & alcohol

MEALS

All meals are prepared on-site and designed to feel nourishing, satisfying, and supportive. Dietary needs shared with us have been thoughtfully communicated to our culinary team.

A coffee and tea station is located inside the main house kitchen, where fresh water, coffee, and tea will be available throughout the day for you to help yourself.

ALCOHOL

Alcohol is not provided or available for purchase on-site. We honor everyone’s personal choices around drinking, though alcohol is typically not a central part of our retreat experiences.

If you would like to have something during your stay, we recommend purchasing it at the airport before arrival, as there are no shops or stores nearby.

There is also a small beach bar located next door that occasionally serves drinks. It accepts cash only (USD or pesos) and operates on limited hours.

HYDRATION

Due to the tropical climate, staying hydrated is essential. Water refill stations will be available throughout the property. We encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle.

Suggested gratuity

GRATUITY

At the end of the retreat, we recommend a suggested gratuity of $50 USD per person. This is shared across the on-site team who helps make our stay feel seamless — including gardeners, landscapers, managers, housekeepers, maintenance, and cleaning staff.

On the final day, we’ll leave a basket in the main house/strong> where you can place your gratuity in an envelope if you choose. Any amount is deeply appreciated, and every contribution goes directly to the team.

Thank you for supporting the people who care for the space — and for all of us — throughout your stay.

Additional purchases & cash

CASH & PAYMENT

For guests participating in a la carte sessions, adding massage treatments, we recommend bringing up to $500 in cash.

There is no ATM on site. U.S. dollars are accepted.

Support & contact

ON-SITE SUPPORT

A member of the Casa Retreats team will be on-site 24/7 throughout the week. At least one team member will also be present and avaliable for guidance, coordination, and support.

COMMUNICATION & CARE

We’ll use the designated WhatsApp group for arrival-day updates and group coordination. For anything personal or private, you’re always welcome to reach out directly to any member of the Casa team — including Lauren.

We invite you to listen to your body, honor your boundaries, and communicate openly so we can best support your experience.

A Closing Note

11 · A CLOSING NOTE

This time is yours.

While we’ve thoughtfully curated this retreat to support your experience, everything offered is optional.

Whether you choose to move, rest, explore, connect, laugh, swim, journal, or simply be — this time is an invitation to listen inward and honor what feels right for you, day by day.

There is no right way to experience this retreat. Trust your rhythm and follow your curiosity. When we step away from daily life and create space to slow down, it’s natural for different emotions or insights to arise. Meet whatever your experience is with openness and compassion. Above all, this time is an opportunity to care for yourself — so honor what you need along the way.

We’re so grateful you’re here — and we can’t wait to share this space with you.
