Somewhere between luxury travel and the commercial retreat is an experience that rarely exists: beautiful private places, held entirely for a small group, with everything considered and very little imposed.
01
Every Casa retreat is a full private buyout. No shared hotel, public restaurant or outside guests. The house and its surroundings belong to the group, creating a freedom and intimacy that ordinary travel rarely allows.
02
Movement is central to every Casa week, but it extends beyond scheduled yoga classes. Practice may include focused workshops, structured breathwork, functional mobility and other modalities suited to the place and the people in it — always thoughtfully taught, grounded and free from performance.
03
We look for places with artistry, raw beauty, thoughtful design and a deep relationship with the landscape. Homes with a point of view and room to breathe — never luxury polished until it could be anywhere.
04
The room is ready, the table is set and the day has been considered before you arrive. Beautiful food, generous space and thoughtful care matter. Pretension does not. The luxury is having less to think about.
05
Movement, nature, exploration and good food give the week shape, but there is no program to complete. Join what draws you in. Rest when it does not. There is nothing to prove and no version of yourself you need to become.

I loved not having to make any decisions throughout the week. Each day was like unwrapping a new gift.Lisa C. · Costa Rica 2026
The classes are taught with precision, usually with another teacher there to do corrections, making it feel like a private lesson. There is a reason I and many others keep going back.Sara B. · Google Review
I was not expecting a full staff that gave us luxury-hotel-level service in such a down-to-earth, relaxing environment.Tatum E. · Tulum 2026
I stayed the trip with people I didn’t know and left with friendships I will cherish forever.Susan G. · Costa Rica 2026

06 · Who Casa Is For
You may feel at home on a Casa retreat if you care about nature, beautiful places, good food, meaningful movement and the pleasure of things done well—without the pretension that can come with them. This is for people who want space to slow down, not a commercial wellness experience or a week built around constant self-improvement.
The Difference
This is not a week about becoming someone new. It is room to feel like yourself again.
There is no promise of transformation, no program to complete and no commercial wellness machinery to navigate. Yoga, other forms of movement, meals, design, landscape, exploration and rest are considered together, so the week feels coherent rather than programmed.
Everything is handled with care, while your time remains your own.
Yes. Solo guests are very welcome, and most retreats include several. Guests often tell us they arrived nervous about coming alone and left with friendships they still carry. You can be part of the group without giving up time or space for yourself.
No. Casa welcomes experienced practitioners and people relatively new to yoga. Senior teachers offer clear, attentive instruction with room to adapt for different bodies, injuries and levels of experience. The exact movement programme varies by destination.
Not at all. Movement and shared meals give the week a gentle shape, but activities are invitations rather than obligations. Join what serves you, or choose the pool, a walk, a book or time alone. Guests consistently say this freedom is one of the reasons the week feels restorative.
Every Casa retreat includes accommodation in a private property held for the group, thoughtfully taught movement, meals and the experiences listed on that retreat’s page. Transfers and additional modalities vary by destination. Flights, travel insurance and optional treatments are generally separate unless a retreat page says otherwise.
Casa retreats are deliberately small. The exact number depends on the home and destination, and is shown on each individual retreat page. The group is kept intimate enough for attentive teaching, genuine connection and plenty of personal space.
Begin with the place, dates and rhythm that speak to you. Each destination page explains its property, movement, food, experiences, rooms, pricing and travel details. If you are deciding between retreats, include that in your inquiry and we will help you compare them honestly.
There is no impersonal online checkout. Begin with a short inquiry so we can understand what you are looking for, answer questions and make sure the retreat is a good fit. If you are ready, begin your retreat inquiry →
