01 · The Retreat
casa /ˈkäsə/ a quiet place to exhale.
Yoga, Nordic baths, and nowhere else to be.
Aveyron · Southern France
For the ones who usually think of everything. This week, someone else has.
Most time away still asks something of you. Choose the restaurant. Find the way. Decide what happens next. Casa is different.
By the time you reach Almières, your room is ready, dinner is being made and the week has already been considered. Your only job is to arrive. Then, almost without noticing, you begin to come back to yourself.
Life rarely clears a week for you. At some point, rest has to become the plan.
02 · The Setting
Aveyron · UNESCO Causses & Cévennes
A house shaped by the land.
On a cliff above the Gorges du Tarn, an eighteenth-century farmhouse looks across meadow, mountain and a sky dark enough to see the Milky Way.
Monia and Marise spent three years bringing Almières back to life. The limestone walls and vaulted arches remain, joined by worn iron handles, cashmere blankets, local ceramics and wildflowers gathered for the table.
The retreat does not simply happen at Almières. It happens because of it.

Space,
by design.
Some days invite you to move. Others ask nothing of you at all. The week makes room for both.
Space to move.
Most days begin and end with practice, moving between dynamic and restorative work, with breathwork woven through the week. Beyond the mat, guided walks lead through the limestone landscape and along old paths. Movement has a place in the day, without becoming something to accomplish.
Space to soften.
The sauna, outdoor Nordic baths, sound healing, a massage. Then the quieter things: a book beside the fire, an afternoon asleep or a hammock with nothing but open air around you. Time is left open on purpose, with no schedule to keep.
Space to be cared for.
From arrival to departure, the details belong to someone else. Your room is quietly tended, meals are prepared by private chefs and the practical pieces of the week have already been considered. The point is not more service. It is having less to think about while you are here.
Space to discover.
Walk through the limestone landscape, explore caves and old villages, and travel by boat through the Tarn Gorge. There is time to understand something of the history and particularities of the Aveyron, to become curious about where you are rather than simply passing through it.
A Day in France: What a Day Is Like at Casa Retreats' Luxury Yoga Retreat at L'Esprit d'Almières
04 · A Day in France
Casa Retreats · France 2027
A day with nowhere to rush.

Before the rest of the world wakes.
Tea while the valley is still blue, followed by breathwork and yoga. Afterwards, fruit and something warm from the kitchen are waiting.

Lunch is allowed to run long.
The afternoon may bring a massage, a guided hike or a journey into the gorge. It may also bring a book, a deep sleep and no reason to check the time.

The lights come on in the old house.
Restorative practice gives way to dinner at the long table. Wine is poured, the fire is lit and nobody is watching the clock.

- Curiosity, consideration and clothes you can walk, move and linger in.
The Difference
This is not a week about becoming someone new.
There is no program to complete, no personality to follow and no pressure to transform.
Nothing to fix. Nothing to prove. Somewhere to put it all down.
08 · In Their Words
From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had found a place where I could truly disconnect from the demands of everyday life and reconnect with myself. Every detail of the week was thoughtfully curated by Lauren. She set a new bar for what a yoga retreat should be.Michelle · France 2026
09 · The Founder
Designed by someone who notices.
Lauren Coleman
Founder · Senior Yoga Teacher · Creative Director
Lauren chooses the house, shapes the days, teaches the practice and considers how every part of the week will feel before the first guest arrives.
She brings more than fifteen years of yoga practice and teaching together with a background in luxury and creative direction, including Chanel. One taught her how bodies carry stress. The other taught her that quality is felt in the details.
Casa brings those instincts together in a week where nothing is careless and nothing is for show.
