Private yoga and wellness at your villa in Tulum

Stay where you are.We bring Casa to you.

Private yoga, an ice bath, inversion therapy and clay, led by our team at your villa, Airbnb or home in Tulum, with nothing left for you to arrange.

01 · The Experience

Tulum, without the noise.

You chose the villa for a reason, so we come to it. Nobody has to get on a scooter or head across town to a studio; the practice happens where you are already staying, with the people you came with, while the rest of Tulum carries on without you.

We run small retreats across Europe and Mexico, and now we work from Tulum. A private session with us runs the way our weeks do: real teaching, every detail seen to ahead of time, and a team that knows everyone’s name by the end of the first class.

Because we bring a whole team to you, we ask for a little notice, ideally a week, so that everything is ready before we arrive at your door.

Begin with yoga, and add as much as you like.

Each one builds on the last. Choose the one that suits your group and pass it along; we fit the rest around your dates and wherever you are staying.

  • Two people from behind in a standing balance, arms raised, in an open shala among the palms near Tulum, Mexico

    A private yoga class

Yoga for the whole group at your villa, or private one-on-one sessions, taught with enough care that the friend who has never stood on a mat and the one who practices every morning both feel looked after.

  • A terracotta ice bath set in white sand under the jungle, a striped Mexican blanket in front, near Tulum, Mexico

    Yoga and the ice bath

Yoga first, then the cold, guided one breath at a time, and the sun on your shoulders when you climb out.

  • Yoga, the ice bath and inversion therapy

All of that, then inversion therapy, with the sky where the ground used to be.

  • Hands working wet clay on a round wooden board beside carving tools, at a ceramics session in Mexico

    hands in clay, late afternoon

Yoga, the ice bath, inversion therapy and clay ceramics

Everything above, ending around a table with your hands in wet clay while the afternoon slows, and a little of it still under your nails that evening.

03 · Who It’s For

For whoever is doing the planning, and everyone they bring.

One message from the person organizing, and everything else is taken care of.

  • Bachelorette and wedding groups

Time at the villa that asks nothing of anyone, before the getting ready and the late night.

  • Corporate retreats and teams

A morning together that has nothing to do with a meeting room, without leaving the place you booked for the offsite.

  • Families

A class the whole family can share at home.

  • Friends in a villa or an Airbnb

Everyone together at the villa you share, and nobody left holding the itinerary.

For the planners, villa managers and concierges who look after these groups, we are one team you can put your name beside.

04 · The People

Our team.

All of us have worked together for years, across retreats, events and a wellness center. It is how we give your group the soft kind of luxury.

  • Lauren Coleman, founder of Casa Retreats, in a standing backbend on pale stone steps

    Lauren Coleman

Founder & Creative Director · Senior Yoga Teacher

Lauren has taught yoga for more than fifteen years, in studios, on retreats, with private clients and in teacher trainings. Her teaching is detailed and built on alignment, strength without force and softness without collapse. Before Casa, she worked at Chanel’s corporate office in New York.

  • Danny Ciccolini in a lateral lunge with a training stick, a silhouette on a pale ground

    Danny Ciccolini

    Movement & Recovery Specialist

Danny is a performance coach, breathwork facilitator and movement educator with more than a decade of experience, whose work includes coaching NBA athletes and other high performers. For more than three years in Tulum he led breathwork and cold immersion, and he brings that knowledge to your group without the pressure of a room built on performance.

  • José Juarez, artist from Oaxaca, raising clay covered hands in striped sunlight

    José Juarez

    Artist, Oaxaca

José is an interdisciplinary artist working across architecture, sculpture, ceramics and functional design, from a studio practice rooted in Oaxaca. He leads the clay sessions here in Tulum, as he does the ceramics and hands-on workshops at our Mexico retreats, where guests work alongside him.

06 · Questions

Before you message us.

Do you come to our villa or Airbnb?

Yes. We come to your villa, Airbnb or private home within Tulum. We plan the setup with you on WhatsApp beforehand.

Who leads the sessions?

The same people who lead our retreats. Lauren Coleman, our founder, teaches the yoga; Danny Ciccolini leads the ice bath and inversion therapy; and José Juarez, an artist from Oaxaca, leads the clay.

Can you come to our hotel?

Where the hotel allows it, yes. Some hotels welcome an outside team and some do not, so tell us where you are staying and we will find out what is possible.

How far ahead should we book?

Ideally a week ahead, which is what lets us bring the team together. Sooner depends on the team’s availability.

Do we need yoga experience?

No. Every practice comes with clear guidance and real options, so someone stepping onto a mat for the first time and someone who practices every day can share the same class.

Is the ice bath right for everyone?

Not for everyone, and we would rather say so plainly. Please skip the ice bath and inversion therapy if you are pregnant, or if you have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, a history of stroke, epilepsy or seizures, unless your doctor has cleared you. Inversion therapy is also not for anyone with glaucoma, a hernia, or a recent eye, spine or joint injury or surgery. Everyone taking part fills in a short health form before the day and tells us about any health conditions, and the ice bath and inversion therapy are for guests aged 18 and over. Danny leads the ice bath, no one takes it after drinking, and anyone can sit out any part or stop at any moment. These are wellness practices, not medical treatment.

What should we wear?

Something easy to move in, a t-shirt and leggings or shorts, plus a swimsuit for the ice bath.

How long does it take?

It depends on how much you choose. A yoga class runs about 75 minutes; Danny’s ice bath and inversion therapy take about an hour and a half together, or about an hour for just one of the two; and clay with José is about two hours. We set the start time around your plans.

How big can the group be?

From one person up to twelve, so it can be a private one-on-one session or the whole group together.

How does payment work?

Priced for your group and quoted on WhatsApp, and the quote is the full price. We send an invoice with a link to pay online.

A 50% deposit reserves your day and brings our team together. Once your booking is confirmed it is not refundable, except as our booking terms set out, and the balance is due on the day.

If we ever have to cancel, you choose a new date or a full refund.

What if our plans change?

If your plans change, tell us as early as you can. A new date depends on notice and the team’s availability, and we always try.

Can we add a clay session?

Yes. Clay is the fourth way to spend it and closes the day, after yoga, the ice bath and inversion therapy, with José leading it himself here in Tulum.

How quickly do you reply?

We usually reply on WhatsApp within 48 hours.

About a week’s notice lets us bring the whole team together.

Are your dates flexible?
Where are you staying?

The neighborhood is enough. We come to you anywhere inside Tulum.

What brings you together?
Which way would you like to spend it?

Choose any that appeal, and we can decide together.

When in the day suits you best?

The occasion, the space you have at the villa, how much yoga the group has done, anything that helps us plan. Please leave out health details; those come later, on a short form of their own.

Their name, and the hotel, villa or company they are with, so we can thank them.

Nothing is booked or paid until you have seen the plan and said yes.
